OUR STORY
Family-Owned and Operated
We have dedicated both our careers and personal lives to agriculture. When we aren't working in the dirt, we are playing in it. From farming to gardening to beekeeping, we share a love for all that agriculture has to offer.
Both born into farming families, we have learned from a young age the importance of caring wholeheartedly for our land and for our animals. Our bees are no different! We love to see ours (and our bees) hard work pay off when friends, and family alike, get to enjoy our fresh, natural honey!

ABOUT BATEMAN HONEY CO.
Here, at Bateman Honey Co. we pride our selves, and our bees, in hard work! Our love of beekeeping is evident and our exceptional products show it. All aspects of our business are managed and executed by the two of us, with the help of family along the way.
Although we have dabbled in hobby beekeeping for a number of years, we officially became a business in early 2022. We are beyond thrilled to bring our honey products to you and yours truly.
At this time, we are unable to accept orders online. If you would like to purchase any products, please contact us directly at one of the numbers listed on our contact page. You may also send us an email through the Contact page.

ABOUT THE BEES
During the months of May through October our female worker bees are busy pollinating the local landscape. Along the way, the workers collect nectar which is converted into the sweet honey you know and love. It is estimated that the average worker bee is capable of flying up to two miles in a single trip and will produce only one teaspoon of honey in its life!
The queen bee only leaves the hive for one mating flight in which enough eggs are fertilized for the remainder of her life. From then on she will remain in the hive, laying eggs for the expansion and success of the hive.
The male drone bees only have one job to do- fertilize the queen!
